PURPOSE:To prevent the blocking of the ink or the like and thus to enhance the reliability, by jetting the ink at the test jetting position while the data is being read in and then returning the record head to the position before shift to the test jetting position and after the data read-in is completed. CONSTITUTION:The automatic drawing is given in the ink-jet system by memorizing the drawing data with every fixed amount into memory 35 of microcomputer 30. In this case, the read-in of the next data is carried out via memory 35 when the drawing is completed for the data memorized in memory 35 and CPU 36 receives the action end signal from plotter main body I/037. At the same time, record head 22 to which ink- jet generator 41 is mounted is led to the prescribed test jetting position. Then the ink jetting is carried out at the test jetting position while the data is being read in, and head 22 is returned to the position before shift to the test jetting position after end of the data read-in to continue drawing. In this way, the blocking of the ink and the sticking of the dust can be prevented, thus enhancing the reliability. |
