<p>PURPOSE:To improve the airtightness and the mechanical strength, by fitting heat- contracted plastic sleeves on the tips of a pair of auxiliary sleeves and placing the major-diameter ends of the auxilizry sleeves in face of each other and fitting main cylindrical sleeves on the major-diameter ends. CONSTITUTION:The major-diameter parts of funnel-shaped heat-contracted polyethylene tubes 5 are fitted on the tapered parts of hollow cylindrical spacers 4 made of metal such as aluminium and tapered at one end. The minordiameter parts of the tubes 5 are fitted on cables A. The main hollow cylindrical sleeves 3 two-split in the longitudinal direction are fixed on the outside surfces of the magjor-diameter parts of the spacers 4. The step parts 8a, 8b of both the main sleeves 3, 3 are removably fitted on each other. Protective tubes 6 of heat-contracted plastic are coated on the end parts of the main sleeves 3 fixed on the spacers 4. Thereby, the airtightness and the machanical strength are improved.</p> |
