<p>PURPOSE:To make parallel cut and butted surfaces of core sections by forming an annular core and annular case intergral with each other and then cutting them. CONSTITUTION:A secondary coil 2 is wound on an annular core 1 except for two portions thereof for cutting, and the resultant system is accommodated in a case 3. Then, an insulator 4 such as epoxy resin is poured into the gap between the case 3 and coil 2 for molding. It may be poured into the gap except for that corresponding to the core portions to be cut for facilitating the cutting. Thereafter, the case 3 and core 1 are cut along line B-B, and finally the surfaces for butting are polished to obtain a current transformer having desired characteristics. In this way, it is possible to make parallel the cut and butted surfaces and also facilitate the operation of pouring and molding the insulator.</p> |
