The simplified synchronisation of sound track to film strip uses perforations along each strip and an illuminator behind one strip to direct light pulses to the other strip via fibre optics. The synchronisation is obtained when the light intensity through the second set of perforations is at a max. The system thus provides a simple and direct synchronisation control without any complex electroniccircuits. The light intensity can be indicated by l.e.d.s.
