PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting device for a vehicle capable of performing surface light emission uniformly in the entire light guide plate by using a light-emitting diode, in the lighting device for a vehicle.SOLUTION: The lighting device for a vehicle according to one embodiment includes: a light-emitting diode module for emitting light; and a light guide plate in which the light emitted from the light-emitting diode module enters a side surface, and which emits the light entered the side surface to the upper side so as to perform surface light emission. In the light guide plate, a planar shape includes at least one or more recessed parts, and the light-emitting diode module can be provided in at least the one or more recessed parts. The shape of the light guide plate used for the lighting device provided for surface light emission at the rear side of the vehicle is formed in a horseshoe shape or an annular shape. By providing the light-emitting diode module at the recessed position of the horseshoe shape, or providing the light-emitting diode module along the inside surface of the annular shape, the surface light emission can be made uniform in the entire light guide plate.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
