PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine automatic control device which can prevent an automatic stop of an engine after the engine is automatically restarted accompanied by the establishment of a specified restart condition.SOLUTION: An engine automatic control device which automatically stops an engine when a prescribed stop condition is established, and automatically restarts the engine when the prescribed restart condition is established after the automatic stop of the engine comprises automatic stop control means which prohibits the automatic stop of the engine accompanied by the establishment of the prescribed stop condition when the prescribed restart condition which is established immediately before for automatically restarting the engine during a stop of an own vehicle is a first restart condition, and on the other hand, permits the automatic stop of the engine accompanied the establishment of the prescribed stop condition when the prescribed restart condition which is established immediately before for automatically restarting the engine is a second restart condition.
