PURPOSE:A blow molding head designed to reduce the manifold volume and to exclude the retained resin, comprising blocks and a head which are fixed and slid, and a block sliding unit capable of engaging and detaching from the blocks. CONSTITUTION:The blocks 10 are engaged with bridges to connect the block hollows to the bridges with bolts, and fixed to the head 1 in operation. The doughnut-shaped manifold 2 is thus formed in the remaining spaces. The molten resin 19 is injected from the inlet 18 to fill the manifold 2, and passed through the constricted part 16 and around the ring plunger 3, and stored in the accumulator 17 at the tip of the plunger 3. The plunger 3 is then rapidly lowered through the rods 7 and the plate 8 by the cylinders 6 to inject the resin 19 form the nozzle 12, and the parison 13 is thus formed. |
