PURPOSE:To prevent the danger of explosion by appropriating the output current of solar batteries only to circuit driving when it is above a certain level which depends upon the charging current of a secondary battery and appropriating only to the charging of the secondary battery when it is below said level. CONSTITUTION:Beforehand, the slight charging current of the extent of not evolving gas on the secondary battery 5 side is set as a threshold value. On the solar battery, i.e., primary battery 1 side, the output current thereof is converted to voltage through a stable resistance which is difficult to receive the effect of the outside and the output voltage thereof is administered in a battery voltage dectector 2. If the output current is larger than the threshold value, said output current is sent to the load circuit 4 side by the changeover device 3 which is controlled with a detector 2. Next, if it is the output current smaller than the threshold value, said output current is directly sent to the battery 5 side by the device 3 controlled by the detector 2 in a similar manner, thereby charging the battery 5. Thereby, the evolution of hydrogen gas in the secondary battery may be prevented and the dange of explosion prevented. |
