In the mfr. of the woven strip material for a sliding clasp fastener, at least one of 2 warps and other warps cross each other in a gauze weave, to form a number of holes in a longitudinal direction. The process gives a fabric which is already prepd. for the plastic teeth to be formed by extrusion through the carrier strip material, without an intermediate prepn. stage, which gives a good bond between the teeth and the fabric. |
