PURPOSE:To enable the copying speed for originals of sizes other than the maximum size to be increased at the time of variable magnification by performing original scanning by the distance corresponding to the original size according to the preset copying magnification and the preset copying paper size. CONSTITUTION:The pulse of scanning start is supplied from the control part of the copying machine to terminal 1. The life size signal, variable power signal within the same row size and the variable power signal of the different row size are supplied from operating switches, etc. to terminals 2 thru 4 and the copying size signals are inputted to terminals 5 thru 10. Microswitches MS1 thru 6 detect the end of the original scanning and MS7 detects the start point of the scanning. Clutches MC1 thru 3 transmit power to the scanning system during original scanning. From the preset copying magnification and preset copying size, the original size is judged and the original scanning is done by the distance corresponding to this original size, after which it is reset to the scanning start point. |
