PURPOSE:To obtain a high magnetic flux density, low iron loss unidirectional silicon steel plate inclined [001] axis against rolling face, by giving a minute curvature on the last steel plate in the direction crossing rolling direction. CONSTITUTION:After reducing the thickness of the steel containing Si; 0-4.0% to the last product plate, wavy minute curvature extending in crossing direction against rolling direction, is given. Next, the steel plate having minute curvature, is reformed flat. After that, for example, load is given on the rotor made of hard small ball and minute strain is given on the surface of the steel plate by drawing line etc. pressing and rotating the above ball on the steel plate. By the above process, low iron loss unidirectional silicon steel plate inclining [001] axis against rolling face in the extent less than + or -4 deg., preferably + or -0.5-3 deg., periodically, is obtained. |
