PURPOSE:To obtain conversation unit suitable for the use when a deaf-mute makes direct communication with a telephone set. CONSTITUTION:The unit consists of the operation section arranging a number of keys such as characters (panel section s 2-15 of case 1), signal generator 9 corresponding to the keys, transmission section transmitting to telephone lene (amplifier 10 and voice unit 2'), reception section (receiver 3' and amplifier 12). When the handset 21 is placed on the hook switch 4, the mouth piece 22 is contacted to the voice section 2' and the receiver piece 23 is to the receiver 3' and the power switch 5 is ON. When the keys are operated, sinusoidal wave is produced from the frequency oscillator 9a at the generation section 9, it is converted into pulse at the waveform correction circuit 9b, it is fed to the microcomputer 9c, and the pulse signal output corresponding to the key energizes the speaker of the voice section 2' via the amplifier. At the reception section, the signal of opposing party received with the receiver 3' is fed to the microcomputer 9c via the amplifier 12 and the corresponding character is displayed on the display section 11. This display is made with the illumination of small lamps arranged in many numbers or liquid crystal. |
