Between the outlet chamber and the outlet of the housing, a swirl chamber is formed consisting of a narrow passage which connects to a chamber having a greater cross-section than the narrow inlet passage. Used to facilitate the determination of the fat and albumen content of a sample of milk, on the basis of which the contents for the whole batch can be determined. For this purpose the milk must be homogenised and the fat not in balls be evenly distributed.
