concentrating and detecting magnetically marked cells in a laminarly flowing medium, wherein the magnetically marked cells are concentrated on a magnetoresistor by a gradient of at least a first external magnetic field having a first amplitude, wherein the magnetically marked cells are detected in a gradient of at least a second external magnetic field having a second amplitude, wherein the first amplitude is larger than the second amplitude, wherein the first external magnetic field is perpendicular to the second external magnetic field, and wherein the first external magnetic field is switched off in each measuring time interval during which the second external magnetic field is switched on. |
