PURPOSE:To keep a bearing always parallel to a journal shaft and equalize the pressure on the supporting face, by fitting hydraulic jacks to both ends above the bearing and making its hydraulic source communicated with holes on the sliding surface below the bearing for taking out pressure of oil film. CONSTITUTION:A plain bearing 2 is fitted on the external circumference of a journal bearing 1 as part of a rotational body, and a bearing member 2c is fitted on the internal surface. The center of external circumference of the bearing 2 is formed spherical as an outer seat 2d and built in spherical inner seats 3a, 4a of upper and lower segmented journal boxes 3, 4. A pin 7 for blocking the bearing 2 is fitted above the outer seat 2d. Two hydraulic jacks 6 are fitted between annular grooves 2e on the upper end of bearing 2 and the upper journal box 4. Two holes 2b for taking out pressure of oil film are made below the bearing 2, both holes being communicated with the jacks 6 through high pressure hoses 5. |
