PHOTOGRAPHIC DEVELOPER COMPOSITION

摘要

PURPOSE:To obtain a developer composition having superior stability and capable of preventing formation of colored sludge for a long term without exerting unfavorable influence on the photographic properties of a silver halide photographic material by adding a specified acetylene glycol compound. CONSTITUTION:0.01-10wt% of an acetylene glycol compound represented by general formula I (where R1 is methyl and R2 is 1-4C alkyl) is blended into a known developer for a silver halide photographic material. The compound used may be a compound of formula III or II (where n+m>=10) in which each of two carbon atoms adjacent to the triple bond of alkylene has one hydroxyl group.
