Self supporting prefabricated exterior wall of building - has two reinforced concrete elements separated by air gap and held apart by steel traverses

The two reinforced concrete elements are prevented from touching each other but are connected together by the steel traverses, while end pieces at the end of the elements seal the air gap in the walls. The coefficient of insulation of the wall is increased by creating a partial vacuum in the wall by using a pneumatic pump to withdraw some of the air in gap. The wall is lighter as the traditional insulation panel is missing it is faster to manufacture and does not suffer the risk of limited life due to contact with atmospheric polution.
