<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a crease-free compound insulating paper having a bridged plastic layer by a method wherein an adhering surface of fibrous paper is coated or impregnated with an organic peroxide beforehand and a plastic is adhered onto the adhering surface. CONSTITUTION:An organic peroxide is coated onto or impregnated into surfaces of fibrous papers 1, 1' to be adhered to a plastic at least by coating rolls 4, 4' beforehand. Thereafter, plastic 6 is extruded and formed by an extruder 5 at a temperature higher than a decomposition temperature of the said organic peroxide, and the fibrous papers and the plastic are pressed together by rolls 3, 3; thus, a compound insulating paper having a bridged plastic layer may be produced. This insulating paper is suitable to be used for a power cable or the like.</p> |
