The pallet consists of a base (1) with support blocks and spaces for a lift truck fork and has corner posts (5). The posts are joined by cross member (6) at the top and lower down. The pallet carries a number of support bars (24) which are supplied with holders (25) for the articles being stacked. The bars are supported in the end channels (13) with internal grooves. The channels are supported on the stanchions (14) having equally spaced holes along their length. The levels of the support channels are fixed by the sloping bars (22) joined to the locking bar (11).
