发明名称 ACCELERATION OF DEPHOSPHORIZATION IN BOTTOMMBLOWING CONVERTER REFINING
摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain easily cleanable slag as well as to accelerate dephosphorization by the procedure in which a slag-forming agent, e.g., CaO, etc., is blown into the bottom of a bottom-blowing converter and at the same time a residual slip formed in enamelling operation is blown into the furnace bottom or mouth. CONSTITUTION:After charging molten pig iron into a bottom-blowing converter, residual slip is charged into the converter so as to cover the molten pig iron and at the same time a slag-forming agent, e.g., CaO, etc., is charged into the converter to maintain the basicity of the slag. Then, cupelling is started and CaO fine powder with O2 gas is blown into molten steel from the converter bottom by using flux injection device during the cupelling operation. Then, P2O5 formed near the tuyere is soon combined with slag and at the same time reacted with CaO blown into the converter to form 3CaO, P2O5, whereby accelerating dephosphorization. The dephosphorization is effective for desulfurization and thus enables low-P and low-S high carbon steel to be manufactured.
