PURPOSE:To prepare cyclic-3',5'-thymidylic acid by culturing bacteria belonging to Corynebacterium genus, etc. CONSTITUTION:Bacteria belonging to Corynebacterium, Arthrobacter, or Micro- bacterium genus, and capable of producing cyclic-3',5'-thymidylic acid, e.g. Corynebacterium murisepticum No.7 (FERM-P No.206), are inoculated in a medium containing one or more components selected from thymine, deoxyriboside or deoxyribotide containing thymine as a base, uracil, orotic acid, and riboside or ribotide containing uracil or orotic acid as a base, and cultured at pH5-9 and 20-40 deg.C. The accumulated cyclic-3',5'-thymidylic acid is separated from the medium. |
