Electrostatic field detector - has antenna responding to field and connected to amplifier of high input impedance

The electrostatic field detector has a low-pass filter which suppresses the electrostatic field frequencies above the highest frequencies to be detected. The signals obtained at the output of the low-pass filter are supplies to a driver circuit which selects the optical indicators according to the field intensity picked up by the antenna. The amplifier used may be a functional amplifier connected to a detector whose output is linked to the low-pass filter.
