PURPOSE:To take a measurement of high precision covering a broad range by selecting a detecting element output by an electromagnetic wave that the detecting element is irradiated with through a random filter and then by outputting the energy value of the electromagnetic wave as an output signal. CONSTITUTION:In through windown 5 of rotary disk 3 functioning as a chopper, not less than two dimming filters differing in transmission factor or colored filters 6 differing in transmission wavelength are fixed and a detecting element output by an electromagnetic wave striking detecting element 8 via a random filter among filters 6 is selected to output the energy value of the electromagnetic wave as an output signal.
