The arrangement for remote measurement of stresses on the lines in an electric power transmission line comprises stress pickups, which are arranged on the electric power transmission line at the places where the phase conductors are suspended at the fastening, and pickups for detection of ice formation, which are directly fastened to the phase conductors. Each stress pickup and pickup for detection of ice formation is connected to the inputs of respective converters for converting the output signal of the stress pickup into a high-frequency electric signal, which is transferred to a receiver of high-frequency signals. Each pickup for detection of ice formation contains a radioactive source and a radioactive detector.
