A service redundancy method performed by an information processing apparatus includes: receiving identification information of each wireless communication network, the identification information being detected by a terminal coupled to the information processing apparatus through wireless communication; determining other information processing apparatus which corresponds to the received identification information and is different from the information processing apparatus, to be a substitute destination of a service provided for the terminal by the information processing apparatus; causing the service to be redundant in the determined substitute destination in accordance with a start of use of the service by the terminal; performing a process in which information indicating the other information processing apparatus is transmitted to the terminal. The terminal is coupled to the other information processing apparatus in a case where use of the information processing apparatus is not allowed.
