This electric meter includes a cylindrical internal magnet to have N and S poles oriented in direction of a straight line connecting both pole intersects with the central axis of the magnet at right angles thereto. First and second circular arc shaped auxiliary zokes are provided along the magnetized direction of said cylindrical internal magnet around the outer periphery of the internal magnet and at precribed distance from the N and S poles of the magnet and a movable coil in pivotally mounted in the magnet field produced between the tip portins of the first and second auxiliary zokes and the N and S poles of the cylindrical internal magnet.
