PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hysteresis comparator that is small in scale and that has a high input impedance and an easily adjustable hysteresis width, and to provide a semiconductor device with the hysteresis comparator formed therein.SOLUTION: In a differential circuit SG1 of a comparator core part 10, currents respectively corresponding to first and second differentially signaling input signals Vi1 and Vi2 are applied to first and second input lines L1 and L2, respectively. First and second current mirror parts CM1 and CM2 send first and second output currents corresponding to the currents respectively flowing in the first and second input lines, to first and second output lines Land L, respectively, so that an output signal corresponding to a voltage on the first output line is output as a first output signal C1 indicating a magnitude comparison result of the first and second input signals. A current amount on at least one line of the first and second input lines is adjusted in response to the first output signal to add a hysteresis characteristic to the comparator core part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
