PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source module and a lighting apparatus capable of improving assemblability.SOLUTION: Provided is a light source module comprising: a support 21; a substrate 25; a light source 26; and a cover 22. The substrate 25 is supported by the support 21. The light source 26 is provided on the substrate 25. The cover 22 has a space inside and is fixed to the support 21 in such a manner that light from the light source 26 is emitted toward the space. The cover 22 includes a mount section 22a formed in a stepped shape in a direction of the space. The support 25 is accommodated at least partially in a stepped portion of the mount section 22a and sandwiched between the mount section 22a and the support 21.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
