PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid-state image pickup device capable of improving a color quality and image quality.SOLUTION: The solid-state image pickup device has a pixel array section including a combination of first pixels corresponding to respective color components in plural color components and second pixels which have a sensitivity to an incident light higher than that of the first pixels, which are two-dimensionally arranged. In the pixel array section, a first electrical barrier, which is formed between a first photoelectric conversion part and a first unnecessary charge drain section in the first pixel, and a second electrical barrier, which is formed between a second photoelectric conversion part and a second unnecessary charge drain section in a second pixel, are formed to have a height different from each other.
