PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a change in conveyance speed irrespective of the length in a direction of conveyance of recording sheets.SOLUTION: At a conveyance force applying point 2, the conveyance speed of large size sheet 38 is set slower than the conveyance speed of small size sheet 38 (adjustment 1), and a difference in conveyance speed between the conveyance force applying point 2 and a conveyance force applying point 3 is set small (adjustment 2). The large size sheet takes long time for the leading end of the sheet to reach the conveyance force applying point 3 compared with the small size sheet, which delays a time point for the large size sheet to depend on the conveyance speed at the conveyance force applying point 3. As a result, an error to a proper average magnification is reduced, and a reduction in margin at the rear end part of the sheet 38 is avoided.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
