<p>A cellulosic casing (opt. crinkled) has an interior coating composed of a water-soluble cellulosic ether and a cationic thermosetting resin which is water-soluble or dispersible, but which by crosslinking becomes water-insoluble. The casing can enclose a fibrous sheet, and can also contain a mineral oil, a polyol, or the water-soluble addn. product of an alkylene oxide and a partial ester of a fatty acid.</p> |
