PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin composition for fixing a rotor required for obtaining a rotor core having durability capable of withstanding repeated use.SOLUTION: A resin composition for fixing a rotor used for formation of the fixed member of a rotor, including a rotor core fixed to a rotating shaft, and provided with a plurality of holes arranged along the peripheral edge of the rotating shaft, magnets inserted into the holes, and a fixing member provided in a spacing portion of the hole and fixing member, contains a thermosetting resin containing epoxy resin, a curing agent, and an inorganic filler. A dumbbell-shaped hardened material of resin composition for fixing a rotor, obtained under curing conditions of mold temperature of 175°C, injection pressure of 9.8 MPa, and curing time of 120 seconds, in accordance with JIS K7162, is further cured at 175°C for 4 hours to obtain a hardened material, as a test piece, that has a breaking energy of 1.5×10J/mmor more, when tensile test is performed under conditions of temperature of 25°C, and load rate of 1.0 mm/min.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
