PURPOSE:To obtain an inexpensive light-beam scanner that provides a high-speed scan by forming straight scanning lines at a time by circle/straight-line converting optical fiber by turning light sources. CONSTITUTION:Light sources S1, S2, S3 and S4 and focusing optical systems O1, O2, O3 and O4 are fixed on rotary disk 6 corresponding to each other and bearing specific relation and light beams from those light sources are focused on circular end surfaces 7' of circle/straight-line converting optical fiber 7. Here, rotary disk 6 is turned by motor 8 in direction B and recording medium 9, for example, is moved in direction C, so that scanning lines L will be recorded on recording medium 9 at the same time. |
