PURPOSE:To stably hold a tyre in automobiles, mainly light vans, by installing a tyre stopper extending obliquely upwards inside at least either one of the front side and rear side of the spare tyre receiving section of the frame. CONSTITUTION:The rear end section 6b of the frame 6 is passed through the hook 7a of the stopping device 7 and the hook 7a is turned by about 90 deg. to fasten the rear end section 6b. Next, the operation bolt 7b is turned from inside the vehicle room to shift the hook 7a upward. Then the rear end 6b of the frame 6 is snatched and fixed by the bottom face of the rear bracket 11 and the hook 7a, and the spare tyre 8 is fixed and held beneath the fuel tank 2. In this condition the upper portion of the front side of the spare tyre 8 is pressed and fixed by the stopper 10a and its lower portion by the stopper 12. In this arrangement the spare tyre can be fixed and held without being subjected to excessive restraining force by providing a tyre stopper extending obliquely to the upper portion of the inside. |
