PURPOSE:To miniaturize the permanent magnets, facilitate the manufacture thereof and increase the damping effect thereof by winding damper windings around a plurality of permanent magnets in which the magnetic poles of respective poles are divided in parallel, and crosslinking the leading ends of permanent magnets of the same pole by magnetic pole pieces. CONSTITUTION:In permanent magnets 8 divided in plurality in the circumferential direction in each pole, those of the same pole are magnetized in the same polarity, and the leading ends of respective magnets are crosslinked by magnetic pole pieces 9, damper windings 10 made of a naked conductor wound around the leading ends of the magnets 8 are brought into electrically contact with magnetic pole pieces 9. By these procedures, in the permanent magnet rotary electric machine the magnetic poles 7 of respective poles are easily constituted, and the damping effect is remarkably improved by the formation of the distribution damper winding circuits. |
