<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the installation area of the transformer on increasing the creeping distance of insulation between terminals by providing a pair of bottomed holes, in which power fuses are to be put and which are separated from each other, in a moldings that forms the potential transformer. CONSTITUTION:The secondary coil 2 and the primary coil 3 that surrounds the coil 2, which make up the transformer, are molded in the form of a cube with an epoxy resin 4, in which silica powder is mixed, to form the molded body 1, a hole 5 that pierces through the coil 2 is drilled, two pairs of U-shaped cut cores 6 are mounted on the outside of the molded body on inserting one side legs into the hole 5, and are fastened with a core band 7. Next the metal fittings 9 to attach the transformer to a power board are fixed to both sides of the molded body 1 with plural screws 8, and a pair of bottomed holes 11 is projected upward at the end part of the molded body 1. In the bottom of the hole 11, a connecting metal 13 that communicates with the coil 3 is embedded, the power fuse 17 is put into the hole 11 and is held by springs 18 that are provided between the upper and lower connectors 15, 13.</p> |
