<p>PURPOSE:To enable accurate positioning to desired track, by the correction through the formation of the elelctromagnetic operator drive correction signal cancelling off- track due to bending force of spring member and that corresponding to the amount of off-track. CONSTITUTION:When the head is positioned to desired track, the position signal is detected and this signal is input to the voltage comparison circuit 23. The circuit 23 detects the direction of position shift with the position signal and the signal corresponding to it is input to the AND gates 29 and 30. The output of the oscillator 24 is input to the gates 29 and 30 and the only the gate given with the signal from the circuit 23 is open for the count to the up-down counter 25. The counter 25 performs subtraction with down signal and addition with up signal, and the value corresponding to the amount of off-track is the count value and it is added to the adder 26 with the amount of correction corresponding to the bending force of spring member from the register 22 to obtain the electromagnetic operator drive correction signal. Accurate positioning is enabled with the drive by this signal.</p> |
