A sheet film magazine for an X-ray film exchanger includes a housing with a chamber, a drum rotatably mounted in the chamber with a portion urged toward the cylindrical surface with the teeth resting thereon. A leading end of each sheet inserted into the chamber is guided between the cylindrical surface and the belt. Thd drum and belt are driven in a stepwise manner with the distance of movement of the surface of the drum and the belt being equal to the distance between adjacent teeth on the belt. |
