PURPOSE:To provide a metal rolling oil for high-pressure rolling having excellent lubrication performance which includes a compd. obtained by a reaction of castor oil, etc. with a polybasic organic acid having at least two functional groups. capable of reacting with hydroxyl group. CONSTITUTION:Titled rolling oil is prepared from a compound or its salt obtained by the reaction of (a) one member selected from the group consisting of castor oil, hydrogenated castor oil, castor oil with added ethylene oxide, hydrogenated castor oil with added ethylene oxide, a partial ester containing at least one residual hydroxyl group in the molecule obtained by the reaction of castor oil etc. and a 12C or higher fatty acid etc. and (b) one member selected from the group of polyfunctional compd. consisting of a polybasic organic acid a polybasic inorganic acid, an epoxy compd. and an isocyanate compd. having at least two functional group capable of reacting with hydroxyl group in the molecule. |
