PURPOSE:To restore lubricating capacity lost by failure or deterioration by supplying a lubricant of magnetic liquid to the tooth surfaces using a liquid transfer pump in a lubricating method for tooth gears. CONSTITUTION:To lubricate the engaged part A between a large gear 1 and a small gear 2 with a magnetic liquid 23, a driving shaft is operaed to produce a revolving power which allows a liquid transfer pump 30 to suck up a lubricant of magnetic liquid 23 from an oil container 15 through a suction pipe 29 having cooling fins 28 and a filter 31 and to transfer the lubricant to lubricating passages 45 installed in the driving shaft and to eject it from radiation passages 46 bored with the small gear 2 on several teeth basis. The ejected magnetic liquid 23 is splashed against a casing 13 of the small gear, which allows the lubricant to stick to the tooth surfaces 19, thereby lubricating the engaged part A of the gears. |
