A pesticide containing, as active ingredient, a compound of the formula in which R1, R2 and R3 independently of one another denote a hydrogen or halogen atom or a C1-C4-alkyl, C1-C4-alkoxy, trifluoromethyl, cyano or nitro group, R4 denotes a methyl or ethyl group, R5 denotes a C1-C12-alkyl, C1-C4-alkoxycarbonyl-C1-C4-alkyl, C3-C6-cycloalkyl, cyclopropylmethyl or C1-C4-alkoxy-C1-C4-alkyl group and R6 denotes a C1-C14-alkyl group which is optionally substituted by halogen or a phenyl group which is optionally mono-, di- or trisubstituted by C1-C4-alkyl and/or halogen. Processes for the preparation of the compounds of the formula I and the use of the composition according to the invention for controlling insects and representatives of the order Acarina are described.
