PURPOSE:To prevent adverse effects from being applied to the electrical and photoelectrical characteristics of a face plate and on the picture quality and to prevent the increasing of noise by providing a thin glass plate with flat faces on one side of the plate and forming a conductive layer and conductive material layer on the flat face of the thin plate alternately. CONSTITUTION:A thin glass 7 with flat faces is adhered on one face of an optical fiber OF plate 5 with adhesives 6 such as epoxy adhesive or ultraviolet-hardenable adhesive. Where, cores 5a of the fiber and peripheral parts 5b are combined to form recesses alternately constituting an OF plate 5, the thin glass plate 7 with flat faces is adhered on the plate 5 with the adhesive 6, the recesses on the surface is filled with the adhesive 6, and an optically polished surface is provided by the thin plate 7. Thus the roughening of pictures and increase of noise are prevented. |
