PURPOSE:To obtain superconductive wires of superior performance with good productivity by pouring the melts contg. predetermined component elements and metal for matrix to a pair of rolls revolving in opposite directions and performing press- sticking simultaneously with tape forming by cooling. CONSTITUTION:A pair of rolls 1a, 1b are juxtaposed in the state that the roll surfaces are held approached each other. These rolls are revolving at a high speed in opposite directions. Vessels 3a, 3b having nozzles 2a, 2b are disposed above the rolls 1a, 1b and for example, in the case of producing a superconductive wire contg. Nb3Sn as superconductive compound, Cu-Nb melt 4a is put in the vessel 3a and Cu-Sn melt 4b in the vessel 3b. Thence, an inert gas is blown from the opposite side of the side provided with said nozzles 2a, 2b and the melts 4a, 4b are injected onto the rolls 1a, 1b from the nozzles 2a, 2b. Thereby, the alloy melts 4a and 4b are quickly cooled and formed to tape shapes 5a, 5b respectively, after which they are joined by passing between the rolls 1a and 1b while being press-stuck, whereby they are formed into one tape 5. |
