[Class 87 (i)] [See also Group XVIII] A block for marking roads or other surfaces comprises a perforated metal plate 1, the central part of which is embedded in rubber 2 leaving extensions 1a at an obtuse angle thereto on one or both pairs of opposite edges. The edges 1b of the central part and the upturned edges 1c of the extensions 1a are unperforated. As shown, the block is square with extensions on all four edges ; in a modification, the block is rectangular with extensions only on the longer sides.</p> |
