PURPOSE:To prevent the irregular action that another's card is taken away by providing a customer supervisory part, supervising the presence of a customer, at the position that corresponds to a customer's operation part and by stopping the discharging operation of an article discharge part when this supervisory part detects the absence of the customer. CONSTITUTION:Customer supervisory part 14, detecting the presence of a customer, is provided corresponding to customer operation part 15 of cash dispenser 1 and connected to control part 11 together with paper currency counting part 13. At this supervisory part 14, photodetector 14-1, ultrasonic detector 14-2 and foot pressure sensing detector 14-3 are arranged. When one of detector 14-1-14-3 detects a customer, discharge command signal (c) is held at a high level and article discharge part 16 starts to discharge paper currency. When none of detectors 14-1- 14-3 detects the customer, OR gate 21 is closed to hold supervisory signal (b) at a low level and the discharge of paper currency of discharge part 16 is stopped by outputting discharge stop signal (d) from OR gate 26 to drawn the paper currency in by drawing mechanism 17, thereby displaying that on alarm display part 2. |
