摘要 PURPOSE:To simplify a structure and a manufacturing process by a method wherein the electric charge transfer device for the delay integration use is installed in every unit constituting the electric charge transfer device to practice integration operations in the unit, and signals obtained after the integration are arranged in a time series by means of the electric charge transfer device of a single system. CONSTITUTION:The electric charge transfer device for infrared rays is composed of the units W1-W5 made all the quite same structure, and one of them, for example, the unit W1 is made as follows. That is, the same is comprised of the electric charge transfer device 12 having light receiving elements 11a-11d which receive infrared rays and electric charge transfer elements 12a-12d corresponding to the above elements, the electric charge transfer device 13 having elements 13a-13d and the electric charge transfer device 14 having elements 14a-14d. With such a construction, the devices 13 and 14 are allowed to perform time lag integrating operations and the outputs fed from the device 14 are applied to the electric charge transfer device 20 of one system comprising elements 20a-20e which are provided outside the units, through a diode Q1 for the output. After that, an output P is taken out through a diode Q0 provided in the device 20.
