PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new image forming apparatus.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus 1 comprises: a photoconductor drum 13; a fixing unit 5 that is arranged above the photoconductor drum 13; a casing 2 that includes a paper ejection path 25 arranged above the fixing unit 5, the casing 2 including a paper ejection tray 8 having a paper ejection port 41 communicating with the paper ejection path 25, located on the opposite side of the paper ejection path 25 with respect to the paper ejection port 41, and arranged below the paper ejection port 41; and a reading device 1B that is located above the paper ejection port 41 and arranged above the paper ejection tray 8 at an interval.
