PURPOSE:To provide a high precision electrospark machining by using an electrode capable of standing high tension, for wire cut electrospark machining method with a linear working electrode. CONSTITUTION:A core wire having at least 150kg/cm<2> of tensile strength is coated with a material (for example copper) having conductivity higher than that of said core wire in order to provide a linear working electrode for electrospark machining. High tension can be given to this electrode by the use of such electrode. Thus, vibration caused by applied voltage, working liquid, etc. can be restrained effectively to improve remarkably the working accuracy. |
