PURPOSE:To dispense with the limitation of the mounted position of a direction indicating switch around a steering wheel to heighten the degree of freedom of the mounted position, by composing a direction indicator of the direction indicating switch of momentary contact structure and a rotational direction detecting switch. CONSTITUTION:When the contact R of a direction indicating switch 1 including momentary contacts R, S2, L is turned on, a signal from the switch 1 is latched by a latch circuit 5 to generate an output Q. The signal Q is inverted and amplified at 7 to energize a relay 9 to close its contact to turn on and off a rightward turn signal light 11 through a flasher unit 13. When rightward turning is performed in that state, the contact SR of a rotational direction detecting switch 2 is repeatedly closed several of times by the rightward turning operation of a steering wheel. At that time, the light 11 is turned on and off repeatedly because a latch circuit 6 is reset. When a contact SL is closed by the reversal of the steering wheel after the rightward turning, the latch circuit 5 is reset to turn off the light 11. |
