PURPOSE:To regularly arrange number of light emitting diodes by cutting a predetermined back grooves on the back surface of a pellet beforehand when isolating respective light emitting diodes and forming front grooves corresponding to the back grooves from the front surface of the pellet. CONSTITUTION:A pellet 4 is secured onto the metallic bar group 20, which is so disposed that the back electrodes are arranged on the respective metallic bars 21 corresponding thereto. Front grooves 23 reaching the grooves are formed corresponding to the back grooves of row direction from the front surface of the pellet 4, and the pellet 4 is isolated at every row. Subsequently, the base 22 of the metallic bar group 20 is cut, and the respective metallic bars 21 are isolated. The pellet 4 integrated with the metallic bar 21 is secured onto a printed board in the final step. |
